We got scholarship from GMS to study at Yunnan Normal University in Kunming, China. We're so lucky that we both got the scholarship. Anyways, thank to the president of Sripatum University and all the lovely teachers. Before we came, the president of Sripatum University gave us some good advices of making progress in our lives and careers. Everything didn't go smooth at first but with all their helps and supports, we are able to experience new things in China and learn chinese language which we've always dreamed of. Therefore, thanks again to all effords from the president and teachers who have made our dreams come true. This is once in a life time oppourunity. We are the first two of Sripatum University that ever received this scholarship, so we'll do our best to represent our university and country.

We had our first trip in Kunming to Dragon Gate Western Hills. It was awesome but exhausting. It took us almost 2 hours to get there cuz we had to transfer 3 buses. Since we got there, we had to walk all the way to the top of the mountain before we reached the Dragon Gate Western Hills. From the top of the mountain, we were able to see the whole town of Kunming but we couldn't see it clearly due to the intensity of the fogs. we took almost 5 hours up there and also had lunch up there. After we had lunch, we decided to go back. Once again, it was a long walk. We walked for almost 10 miles. our feet were killing us but it was worthy.

Yunnan Normal U.'s sports day was held on the 15 of December. we have participated the opening ceremony in the morning. the weather was very cold, we could feel any of our extremities. we had to get up at 6 in the morning and join the parade from school front gate till soccor field. it was prolly 10 min-walk. by the time we got to the field, the made us do arobic just to keep ourselves warn. it was fun...........................just so u know

Half of the population in Kunming own a motorbike. China has particular lanes for bike and motorbike on the streets. Whenever you visit China, You need to be aware all the time, look to your left and right before you cross street, because every single motorbike uses batteries to drive its engines, which why it doesn't make any noise when you ride it. I almost got hit by a bike once, because I couldn't hear it coming from behind. Ofcourse, they use baterries, they need to be recharged everyday. You can just plug in the wire to recharge just like any other appliances.

30 October 2008, Food Festival was held in the university due to the 70th aniversary of Yunnan Normal University. Each calss had to compete in Food Competition. Who ever wins, gets a prize. To be honest, we don't know what the prize was. Anyways, we cooked Tomyamkung, Kaeng Kiaowan, Padkaprao, and so on. They were dilicious. But we didn't win. But still, we had a great time, ate some awesome food. It was probably the greates moment we had here.

Public transportation is very convenient in China such as buses, they are provided everywhere throughout China with fixed service charge, 1 yuan per ride. But if you buy a bus card, it will be cheaper per ride. Once you get on, you pay 1 yuan to the driver, when you get off, you use back door.
